Absolutely. Though I would like to see a pic of your eyes a few years ago, and now. But I do believe that your mind controls your body. I learned Hypnobirting as an alternative to regular child birth classes, and I went 38 hours in labor with my daughter with no drugs and no pain. I have done many other things like this, but only talk about it with people who are interested or understand. The majority of people would just say " yeah, right!"

Done all the time, but perhaps not the way you mean.

All bodily functions are controlled by the brain. This works for all living animals, including homo sapiens. The brain in humans works on three levels: voluntary, semi-autonomic, and autonomic.

Voluntary is like raising an arm, you choose when and how to do it. Semi-autonomic is like breathing, sometimes, like when you sleep, your brain keeps respiration going on its own; other times, you can hold your breath, for example, and not breath at all (for a while). And autonomic is like when your stomach gurgles and tells you you're hungry, the brain worked your appestat, which controls hunger feelings all on its own.

Brain over body is a work in progress. There is still a lot to be learned. Some subcultures can actually control their heart beat rates. And in the West, we are beginning to use something called bio-feedback to treat some sorts of medical disorders. [See source.]

I definately do not think we can control our bodies with our brains. There isn't even the remotest chance of your brain ever controlling any part of your body.
