It is very possible that at a 4H fair i may be required to show a pig. I know nothing about how to show a pig, and have never worked with them.

"Showing" a pig may mean putting it in a ring (arena) with other pigs of the same age and sex and moving it around the ring with a stick (to keep it moving and keep it from biting the other pigs). A judge or judges will evaluate the pig on size, structure, foot placement, musculature, reach of body, etc. There are full rules on these things. It is fun to do -- and GREAT to watch!

Tell your teacher!! Pigs are often stubborn and can take off -- you can control them by smacking them with a stick but you need to be careful they can bite with a vengence. If the pig has not been handled refuse to do it.
