Not sure where you could stay-Salem is close to Boston and is known for it's "witch trials" (If you've ever read The Crucible). They have a witch museum and everything! When you're in Boston, check out this stuff-

Fanuiel hall is a great attraction that lures in lots of tourists and Bostonians. It has tons of shops and a huge food court with EVERYTHING- from Boston's Clam Chowder to Chinese food to anything you will find in any mall food court.

New England Aquarium- (it's in Boston) I've actually never been, but i heard it's HUGE and fantastic- check it out. http://www.neaq.org/index.flash4.html......

Duck Tour- It's both a tour bus and a boat that goes into the Harbor. They'll go through the streets showing you different things, it's fun and interesting. Usually the tourists go around "quacking" throughout Boston! Quite a scene. http://www.bostonducktours.com/.........

Harvard Square- Filled with street performers, shopping and of course Harvard. (You can stop there when you're seeing Harvard). There's always something going on there and you'll see a wide variety of people. http://www.harvardsquare.com/

For food, lots of places I listed have restaurants (Harvard square, fanuiel hall, etc). But consider going to the North End; it's known for it's great Italian food. Boylston and Newbury St. also have cute cafes and great restaurants.

Bars- Check out Cheers! I'm only 16, so I'm not very familiar with the best bars in Boston... but I know Cheers is good... my friends cousin worked there and the Patriots visited once. Maybe you'll see Tom Brady!

Ok if you like bars try Dick Last Resort in Fanuiel Hall or see a show at Harper's Ferry in Allston then go to Sunset Grill has a billion beers. There is also Hooters by TB Bank North. There is something cool I recommeed to do check out Bostonbiketours.com. It is so fun!! Make your own beer in Westborough. Um go to Chinatown have a scropion bowl and cook your own food. See a show!! Check out the peopel at Fanuiel Hall, the dancers and the still life. Then go by the water and take a boat ride along the Harbor on Sundays you can watch the cruise ships go out.

I even have lived in Worcester all my existence, so i understand the section. My sought after day out interior the section whilst my sister and that i've got been little became Roger Williams Park Zoo. it extremely is extensive open and there's a great style of style. i do no longer keep in mind going there whilst i became 2, of course, yet I do keep in mind being 6 and seven, so my sister became 2 and 3 and he or she enjoyed the situation.

There are quite a few places, actually. You are in a great area. If you go north, you can go all the way up to Canada... go to Montreal, Quebec and see the sights for the weekend (4.5 hr drive)... You can also take a ferry from Maine over to Nova Scotia (believe it leaves from Portland 1.5 hr drive)... If you want to stay in the states, you can also try Maine itself, try Rockport or Bar Harbor (6 hrs) for a good drive or NYC (3.5 hrs) for a good road trip.
Everywhere you would drive to would put you in the hiking scenic spots of upstate NY, Vermont and NH.

Salem is interesting its the home of the Salem Witch Trials http://www.salemweb.com/

Plymouth of course is also great. Lots of history with Plimoth Plantation, the Mayflower and a great ocean front town.

The Cape is also great as long as it is not winter.

What kinds of things do you like to do and I can better direct you? Cultural? Historical? Nature?

You could go to Brattleboro VT and see if you can find any nude people.

You could go to Mt. Washington and ride the cog railway up the side of the mountain.

You could go to Kennebunkport, ME and go on a lobster boat.
