I don't recall any USA legends of dragons. Is that a big-enough country to pass your test?

There are plenty of Dragon Tales in the U.S., and the rest of the Americas. Water Dragons, Air, and Earth Dragons.
Check out the Mound-Builders in Illinois. Australia has plenty of Rock-Art Dragons.
Most Cultures have Dragons.

I'm of Native American ancestry indigenous to North American, namely the southwestern U.S., and I can honestly say that there were no dragons here based upon the stories of my tribe.
There were giants and monsters, but none of the monsters had dragon-like attributes.

I don't know the statistics but it seems the legend of dragons is pretty wide spread. Perhaps people discovered dinosaur bones and did not know they were from a much earlier time.
