Your best bet is for your Mum to ring up the catalogue company and ask them.

No.I tried to pul this fast one!they wont let u do it coz u reside at same address.I even had trouble getting a catalogue at my new address as the last tenant had an account with that catalogue-I had to send in my tenancy agreement to prove I now lived there and she didnt and allsorts...could u not do it in ur name say 2 ur grandparents/mates house or something?
If u want catalogue discounts try www.hotukdeals.co.uk
on left hand side select merchant e.g empirestores on drop down bar and it'll bring up sum money off codes for ya.
xx
P.S the answer above me is obviously American-says mom not mum and catalog not catalogue so I wouldnt go by them as it may be different in US but this is definitley how it is in UK.

I think that would be fine. After all, people in apartment buildings all have the same street address. Just because you live with your Mom doesn't mean you have to share your catalogues- you could even be in an apartment at the same address . Why should the company care and how would they know?

I can't imagine why they would think you were trying to pull a fast one. How ridiculous. However, if I was concerned and wanted to keep my status and dignity about the whole thing I think I would add a letter or a number after your address to make it look like an apartment. Mail order catalogs are fairly ignorant and they don't really know so you could pull a fast one and get away with it. Do they want your telephone number also?

No you can't.... it's in the terms and comditions of most catalogues....
I was going to do reccomend my mum to my catalogue (NEXT) to get the bonus bu they wony allow it.....
However you could do t for other family members although usually for the incentives the people you reccomend must make an order....
Good Luck in any case

There is no reason why, not usually. The only problem might be their computer system not being able to handle it. I should change the house number slightly. So if say you lived at number 22 Mornington Cresent, then change it to 22a Mornington Cresent for your mum.

Depends on the company. Some cross-check addresses. Most specify "one catalog per address". Why can't your Mom order for you?

Sure you can. It is not sorted by address ... it is sorted by name.
An Apartment complex has the same street address but different names and apartment numbers.
Sign up for all your mom's catalogs ... You're a big girl now!
