what if a girl never gets her period?

what is the cause if she never gets it? what happens? why?

If a period never comes at all a girl could have a hormone problem or medical condition. There is a condition called Turner Syndrome, this affects females only and most won't get periods without being given hormone medication that will give her "periods" also with Turner syndrome sexual growth eg breasts and pubic hair may not occour without medication being given at the appropriate time...... Turner syndrome girl/women are 100% female but they have none functioning ovaries, the womb etc is fine so tey can have babies via IVF with donor eggs..........
I'm sure there are other conditions or hormone imbalances as well that culd prevent periods happening

Hormonal Problems, High Stress, Eating Disorders, and a few other things can cause women to not have a period. Polycystic Ovaries is a condition which prevents/ and messes with the period, I am sure there are are at least a few more.

She definetly needs to see a doctor.

Okay. Just for guys to know.
If a woman doesn't get her period she most like won't be able to have a baby. Most women get there period, and some get it really late, like in there 60's. If a women gets it in her 60's she can have a baby then. Most women get there's in teen ages, so when there 20 something they can have a kid.
The reason why women get there every month is so that they can prepare there body to receive a baby

If you never get your period that means you have a medical condition that needs to get looked at all girls get it at can be any age from 8-20 it doesn t matter but don t stress about it because stress is not good for your body or health anyways.

girls always get them...sometimes it takes a while. my mom didn't start til she was 19!!! and some girls like extreme atheletes take a lonnngg tiem because they're so active. a lot of gymnists dont' have um hardly ever because of the stress they put on their bodies. but it has to happen because as women mature they ovulate and the period is just the blood and tissue that ur body makes just in case you concieve for the baby to rest on. if you don't concieve then it drains that build up once a month or so :P

Female gymnasts are known not to get their periods when they are in training. They exercise alot and don't eat enough. I believe that Kathy Johnson, who retired from Olympic gymnastics when she was 26, got her first period then and grew 2 inches in the next year!

Anorectics and too-skinny girls can have the same problem.

it either means she is pregnant.
or some people have a super irregular period.
that means they have to either take pills and get surgery done to regulate the period, which results in never getting the opportunity to become pregnant and have kids. (though i believe it is okay to have sex).

Girls always get periods. They will always start.
It is normally around the age of 10-14 I think. But it can be older or younger.

It will stop when they are pregent, and I think when they get old.

Obviously it dosnt come everyday. It comes once a month.
