ok so i was reading something that says if you wear a lot of makeup when your younger, your skin will look worse when your older, so basically my ? is should i wear a heavy liquid makeup even though i will look worse later on?

ok i dont know if it is a HEAVY foundation, its just a liquid... also i have a mousse foundation, should i wear that instead?...........PLease answer THAT question

Make-up clogs your pores and if you don't keep your face clean, then you will have trouble in the future keeping up with teenage and adult acne.
The worst thing you can do is tan without protection. THAT will make you look 60 when you're only 40.

When I was in my teens and twenties I wore much more makeup than I wear now (which is none). My skin actually looks very good now and I am 42. I never wore foundation...ever! I didn't like how it felt back then and don't like it now. I would suggest you get a mineral based powder to wear. Bare Esentuals is good but expensive. Avon carries their own brand as does Cover Girl. Try those instead of liquid. Liquid can clog pores and create pimples and lines.

i'm not entirely sure that wearing makeup when your younger will make you look worse when your older. i think that wearing heavy liquid makeup is gross and bad for your skin. it will clog your pores and it make the acne your covering up worse. put face cream on when you get out of the shower and try to not wear the liquid makeup as much, b/c it makes you look like your wearing a mask.

um no. This is a no-brainer. Why put something on your skin that is damaging? Adolescents don't need heavy liquid makeup. There are much safer alternatives to foundation. Try the liquid to powder or spray foundations as they are much lighter.

I'd say it depends on WHY you're wearing the makeup. If you're wearing it because it makes YOU feel good about yourself, then go right ahead. It's healthy to feel good about yourself. But if you're doing it because you want some boy's attention, then just trust that there are better ways to get someone's attention than covering up the little imperfections of your skin. And, please, don't just do it because everyone your age is; people do that all the time. Decide things for yourself; be different!

just dont wear heavy liquid makeups. there are so many new powdered ones and really light liquid ones. they feel better than the heavy stuff anyways.

As long as you take great care of your skin the amount of makeup you wear will not affect it too much. Make sure to cleanse your face morning and night, use an exfoliator twice a week and moisturize day and night and your skin should be fine.
try not to wear too much foundation, it can make your skin look silly and cakey.

for me personally, i like Bare Esentuals.....I like it because it's not cakey and it's all natural minerals so it's actually healthy for your skin. Look into Bare Minerals makeup. It is wonderful and so much better than liquid makeup.

you have to make sure that you take care of the skin under the make-up or you will look worse for the wear. you have to be careful of makeup that uses cheap ingredients or that irritate your face. be sure to use quality make-up. there are many brands out now that improve the quality of your skin the more u wear it, so stay away from the cheap stuff and take care or your skin!.
PS don't froget the sunscreen!!!!
