Crystal is the prior iteration to Emerald. Fewer pokemon, distinctive international... a few humans just like the alterations to the nextgen (emerald), others do not. Personally, I do not just like the nextgen alterations. Crystal is my favourite, however I'm downloading a pokemon Yellow rom (I cannot discover my precise sport :( ) for nostalgia's sake :P But Crystal is satisfactory, IMO Short variation: Crystal
