This was last night. Did I bruise something? Brake something? I can walk and lay on a heating pad, but the pain is bad. What should I do? Is this serious?

The fact that you say you can't bend over is a bit concerning. It might be muscles protecting tho.

You have 2 choices. Stay horizontal for awhile and see if it improves. Take an anti-imflammatory like Motrin or Alieve to help with pain, but be sure to take with food. If you don't see any improvement after a few days, head to the doctor. You might need an MRI to check the disc in your back. If you notice any numbness or tingling in your legs or feet, go to the doctor.

You hurt your coccyx. my mom did that falling down 2 stairs over a year and a half ago and it still isn't healed. she has had pain shots in her butt and everything. now she is going to physical therapy for it. she can lay and everything but its the sitting that hurts the most. there isn't much you can do.

at 35, I would've thought you had more sense, ah well, what's done is done. There isn't much you can do but wait for it to heal up. I would be using ice, not heat. The ice will numb the area and will help to reduce inflammation and speed healing, warmth will only bring more inflammation and impede healing. Take Ibuprofen for discomfort.
