First off i have an ipod mini and it never does this.

I think its dead so i go to charge it, but it freezes at the charge screen.

I try to reset it (menu + center button) but it doesn't, i tried this like 10 times!!

what do i do!!!?!?!

i really don't know man , but you could go to any apple store and they will help you out no charge!

Get it serviced.

I left my ipod video to charge after the battery was completely off. Thereafter, it was dead. I send it to Apple's service centre and had a 1 to 1 replacement. I was lucky cos it died during the warranty period. I was told that it was due to faulty battery.
