I was reading through some onlines stories this morning and I came across an obituary that really struck me hard. An 8 year girl died over the weekend. I'm not sure of the circumstances, just that on Saturday, she passed away.

At just 8 years old, what could her dash possible mean? It was very sad to read about this, but gave me some motivation to come up with a question for all....

What will your dash mean in your life? If you don't know what your dash means it is the dash that separates our birth year from our death year. (1970 - 2010) - the dash represents your life.

Scrubs is one of my favorite TV show and last week I watching an episode that dealth with doctors telling people that their loved one has passed away. One doctor was always joking aobut it, laughing, trying to create his own escape about dealing with death.

He was seen telling one doctor that when we tell people that they have lost a loved one, the chances that those people will go back to work are slim - meaning the loved ones. Yet that doctor knows that when he leaves that room, he has to continue on with his daily duties as a doctor. He has to go back to work. So in the light of death, we have to find our spirit of shimmering light that will give us that faith.

That faith and meaning to represent - - - what our dash will mean.

What a great question. I hope that I will be remembered.... as a mom that put her daughter, truly first, she was given to me as a blessing and it's my responsibilty to to teach her about the world around her, while stepping back and letting her find her way. I hope that I have helped the parents that have been put in my care, that have suffered the loss of their child, find peace, there is no closure, years pass and you always wonder...... And I hope that my husband remembers me loving him always, his partner in everything and each others best friend. The only words I'd like on my head stone would be..... Embrace, Believe, Have Faith.

each of us has an agenda we agreed to before we came to this plane of existence. when that agenda is accomplished we will be going to a different plane of existence. we are spirits having an earthly experience not a physical being having a spiritual one.
