q1. 3x(1)^2 - 5(1) + 7 = 81
3x -5 + 7 = 81
3x = 81 - 7 + 5
3x = 79
x = 79/3 = 26 & 1/3

y = 3x^p^2 - 5p + 7 and it is given that

y = 81 = 3x^1^2 - 5 + 7

81 = 3x + 2

3x = 81 - 2 = 79

x = 79/3

y = kx (varying directly)

so p^2 = 1

p = 1 or - 1
