The most popular sports in the US are basketball, football, baseball & golf. Mostly males play & sports are a source of major competiton & aggression b/w the players and the crowd.

Symbolically speaking why are all the big balls brown and small balls white?

I know it's sounds weird, but it's a theory in psychology.

Smaller balls are white because they are more visible. Early baseballs were actually more brownish, but rule changes mandate replacement of dirty balls. For larger balls, it's more economically (or was) feasible to make them out of leather, which is of course brown. Why stain them white just for the sake of color? Visibility is not an issue with larger balls.

So no, I don't think racial theories hold water with this.

No true throughout the world.

Golf balls are white for visibility, although can be yellow.
Cricket balls are Red or white for visibility.

American Footballs are Brown whilst Rugby footballs are white.

Footballs/soccer balls are white, although yellow in winter.

I've no idea why American sports don't want large balls to be seen but almost every other sport uses white so it as it's the most visible colour

it particularly is style of like announcing that Basketball is a racial game because of the fact the chinese language like Yao Ming, or that soccer is a racial game because of the fact white people like Tom Brady. right here is the factor- we pay interest to that which we perceive with. i'm a white guy of German and English commencing place, yet I watch and root for Mexican warring parties. Why? because of the fact I grew up in Texas, and could perceive with them extra effective than i will perceive with Filipino or Irish warring parties. For that count number, people carry on with warring parties that beat others. "The enemy of my enemy is my chum." I watched the Marquez-Pacquio combat sitting in a room crammed with people speaking Spanish, and a couple of million/2 of them (even Mexicans) have been helping Pacquio. they did no longer like the actuality that Marquez had beat Barrera. people perceive with those that have a history like theirs. which would be, in some experience, a racial concern, in spite of the shown fact that it particularly is extra in all probability socio-economic. or perhaps then, that would not recommend that it particularly is bigoted.
