Because they might have an addiction to the internet.
I've had one since I was 7.
Oh, and think about this, not all kids have friends, and some get more bored than others, so they look to the internet as a source for entertaining themselves, and that's how the addiction starts.
I'm currently 12, and I'm not as adult as most of you reading this right now, so I know that some kids, just don't like to play, and I understand that.
You know, they do have a childhood, and it's being on the internet. That's how life will be if the internet still exsists, and if it's availible for children to use.
So, I think it's good that they can answer questions, and read others comments and stuff, because of that, they learn something, when they're not in school.
Ok, sure they'll build a strong addiction to the internet, like me, but nothing will happen, unless you limit there time even by 15 minutes once they're really addicted.
So, you know what? Let them answer questions, let them do what they want with their lives, and quit saying that they should go out and play, because the truth is, that SOME OF THEM MAY NOT LIKE THE OTHER PEOPLE THAT SOME ADULTS THINK AS THEM AS LITTLE FRIENDS!

THAT IS A VERY GOOD QUESTION. I HAVE WONDER THIS ALSO RECENTLY, BECAUSE I HAVE YOUNG NIECES AND NEPHEWS AND IT SEEMS THAT WHEN THE ADULTS ARE TALKING ABOUT ISSUES THE YOUNG CHILDREN WANT TO INTERRUPT AND TELL THEIR POINT OF VIEW ON THE SITUATION, WEIRD! I REMEMBER WHEN I WAS I CHILD WE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT WAS GOING ON AROUND US WE WOULD PLAY OUTSIDE AND ENJOY ARE CHILDHOOD, WE DIDN'T TRY TO GROW UP SO FAST AND MY PARENTS WOULD HAVE NEVER LET US INTERRUPT THEIR CONVERSATIONS, WE JUST KNEW WITH A GLANCE OF THEIR EYES TO SHUT IT OR GO PLAY OUTSIDE. I WISH PARENTS WOULD LET CHILDREN HAVE AN INNOCENT CHILDHOOD BECAUSE WHEN YOU GROW UP THATS IT THE REAL WORLD HITS YOU IN THE FACE. I HAD AN EXCELLENT CHILDHOOD NO WORRIES ETC. IT WAS SIMPLE AND CAREFREE , IF ONLY THINGS COULD BE LIKE THAT AGAIN.

No, it actually pisses me off. I hate this bull that they have got you ever flow in to visual demonstrate unit some damn video too, or look at some stupid image. Hell answer the question that's positioned till now you. do no longer upload a collection of crap. And ask a query with words, no longer a collection of links or pictures.

Maybe the frisbee or ball ended up on the roof of the house.
Seriously, I encouraged my niece and nephew to play outside. Their mom even admonished them for not being dirty enough.
But I'm doing my part by making toys.

Looolz! That was funny! Why - because their parents feel that between the PC and the TV they have a full time sitter. Sad, I know, sister.

perhaps it is because many of them are smarter than the adults posting here.
judging from some of the posts, I'd have to say it was true.
