My mama is my bestest friend in the whole world! I know I can tell her anything! I think I was the only teenage girl from my time who would've rather hung out with her mom than with her friends. And even when I DID hang out with my friends, I let her know EXACTLY what we were doing and where we'd be: "Hey, mama! Yeah, I'm hanging out with the crew tonight. We're going to the movies and then we're all going to rent a hotel room for a little partying. Yeah, I'll be home tomorrow, don't worry. I might have a hangover though! Love ya!"
My daddy, on the other hand, wanted to try and make me stay a little girl forever so he kept me on restriction when I was in high school. Constantly. Rubber bands not on my braces? That's 5 months. B+ on that English test? That's the rest of the semester. We get along better now that I'm older and understand (to an extent) his reasoning for keeping me on lock and key for all those years.

I get along with both of my parents. I am closer to my mom though because we are both females and we have lots of stuff in common. And my dad, well he is a little different. He likes cars and stuff like that- not really my thing.

Well, I'm 42 now and my dad died a while ago, but when I was younger, I got along better with my dad because my mom was very strict. Now I have a great relationship with my mom. She's pretty much my best friend, altho I miss my dad very much.

My parents are no longer alive. But I always got along better with my mom. She was a wonderful persons, who was always there for me. I miss her so much.

Neither, My parents divorced when I was 5 so I dont talk to my dad and my Mom is too into her 4th husband so she could careless about me so Ive come to realize all I have in this world is Me,Myself and I.
