You can break it in, but you can't make it lighter.
Sorry...

I went to baseball camp every summer for 10 years when I was growing up.
The oils do work, but they make your glove very heavy.
Here's tip that I got that works great and doesn't change the weight of your glove.
Take a baseball and put it in the pocket of the glove.
Get some really heavy duty rubber bands, like the kind they wrap brocolli with and wrap the glove in the proper position.
Fill a five gallon bucket with water and soak the glove overnight.
Next day, with the glove still wet, play catch for about an hour.
That really helps break in a glove.

Just keep playing catch with it and eventually you will get used to the weight of the glove. Whatever you do don't but it in water like that one guy said it will ruin your glove and if you put it in the oven you can dry it out too much so just get used to it and it a couple of weeks you will get used to the weight and how it feels. Using the rubberbands and sleeping on are a good way to break in your glove but it won't break in the way you want it. The only way to break in a glove so it fits your hand the way you want it to is by playing catch.
