If your relationship with your manager is compromising the business then you should fire her most definitely. If things are going well and she's getting the job done, and doing a good job then no, keep her. However you may want to talk to her about the problems you are having. It's your business!

Why would you keep her if she isn't working out for you. You own the business. If you have a person in a position that can change your business (financial well-being) you need to try something different. You didn't state what the problems were with her. You should check to see if there are any state laws for dismissing someone without cause if you just don't like her.

why you hate her? does she suck at her job? do you live in a right to work state? i do and it sucks.
as someone who was fired becuase he wasn't well liked by upper management before (despite the fact that I out preformed most of my department), it sucks to do that. It's really a crapy thing to do.
Try to get along with her. Realize that if you don't like her and she doesn't like you, she'll probably eventually look for something else.
And who knows the two of you could end up being the best of friends.

Well if it is personal reason that you hate her then no you shouldn't fire her because this could cause you a lot of grief very quickly. If it is a professional reason then by all means go ahead and fire her , it is your business after all and you have to do what is best for it and you.
Good luck hope it comes out o.k..

Don' come here looking for someone to tell you it's okay to fire someone. You need to use good business judgment to make that call. Does she do her job? Is she good with customers? Does she have potential to grow with the business? Evaluating a persons performance is important. You must leave out the personal "junk".

Not without sitting down with her and telling her what you dislike about her behavior. Then you let her know you expect immediate and long-term changes. If you don't get them, then you are free to fire her.

Is your hate directed at how she does her job? Or, is she just a jerk when it comes to you dealing with her?
If it's job related, get rid of her (after 3 warnings). You have grounds.
