ok last night i was at my friends house we were having a bomb fire and i looked up in the sky and saw this red light up there it was pretty big and it seemed to be close like the height a plane would fly, well i didnt think nething of it at first i just thought it was one of those red tower lights but then it looked like it moved to the right a little bit then i said something and we all watched it it stayed in the same spot, it looked kind of like it was blinking or flashing just a little bit tho not alot, well it just sat there i took my cell phone out and recorded it but its not that good of a recording but any way it stayed in the same spot just a big red light still, and then all of the sudden it just dropped straight down not sideways like a shooting star would drop but straight down and it disapeared???? is there any logical explanaition???????

It could have been a plane landing, but it's hard to tell without seeing the video and/or pictures. At night, it would be hard to tell how far away the plane's light is from you, which could explain why it seemed to hold still. That is, it was actually moving directly away from you and wasn't changing altitude or moving side-to-side until you saw it go straight down.
Strictly speaking, anything you see in the sky and cannot identify is a UFO, because you can't tell what it is. Obviously, that doesn't necessarily mean it's a spacecraft from another planet. There could easily be an explanation for what you saw, and if you get the right information, you'll figure it out.
For example, some years ago I was driving home from work at night and saw wedge-shaped formations of lights going back and forth in the sky. Later I learned that the nearby Air Force base had a wing of KC-135 refueling tankers stationed there, and they regularly did training flights at night. What I saw was only the planes, but to me they were a UFO until I knew what the explanation was.
Hope that helps!

I agree with TI-452. It is strange, but we can't say it is an alien space craft.
Back in the 1970s I saw a white blinking object while with a group of amateur astronomers. We even looked at it with a telescope. It just looked like a white star that was very dim but would flash very bright for a fraction of a second every few seconds, like strobe light. The telescope was motorized to track the stars in the sky and it tracked this object, so it was stationary in space, not tied to Earth at all. After a few minutes, it just stopped flashing and faded away. I speculated it could have been a space craft we launched toward another planet that was still close enough to Earth for us to see it but heading out of Earth orbit and so not moving across the sky like a regular satellite. The flashes could have been a glint from some shiny part of the space craft as it rotated. But we were not aware of any recent launch. We never did figure out what it was for sure.
Now that I think about it, it could have been a Vela satellite. Or some other secret military satellite in a very high orbit.

A ufo is exactly what you seen. It was an Unidentified Flying Object. That does not mean that you seen little green men or a spaceship. It was simply unidentified.
You also did not specify where you were exactly. If you were away from any kind of suburban area, and there was very little light pollution, you might have witnessed a satellite overhead. You also failed to mention the weather factors as well. Was it partly cloudy, or a clear sky? What time of night? There are too many unanswered questions........Hence the term UNIDENTIFIED FLYING OBJECT.

Hmm maybe it's your brain playing on your eyes. Normally the brain will make you imagine something that is not there is there just like Salvatore Dali's painting "The Invincible Man". You will see a human leg but it has a moose horn and if you look carefully it's like a vase. Maybe that was a plane that descend down and suddenly and off it's red lights. Well, theroratically, yes but i think it maybe a UFO but chances are nearly 2-5%.
