No, they don't. If they did, I would ask if there's a problem. If so, then speak to the manager. Customer service is king.

There is actually a policy set in some stores and this is not the corporations fault but some owners like to do this (I worked for one). They are set to put this amount of vegetables on the sandwhich and NO more unless you want to be charged an extra dollar for just one extra pickle. I got frustrated mostly because I knew I was about to be in an argument with a customer thinking I am cheating that person. Trust me, it wasn't me cheating them. If they aren't charging extra vegetables then you have some teens who don't want to work

I get looks all the time. It's as if Subway employees have forgotten where they decided to work. Sometimes I just want to go behind the damn counter and make it myself! The way I deal with their looks is simple -- I make casual conversation and make them laugh. That way, they won't mind so much when I ask them to put "just a little more" on my sandwich.

The people working at lower class restaurants like subway could care less. Plus you are paying over price for the sandwich anyways so get your moneys worth! The worst they can say is no. The only thing you get charged more for is extra meat so don't sweat it.

I don't like my subs toasted. The other day I ordered a Chicken bacon ranch, which I didn't think came toasted. The "sandwich artist" put the sandwich together and started to put it in the toaster, I said, "Mam, I'm sorry but I don't want that toasted." She rudely said "they come toasted", brought the sandwich back over to the counter threw the cheese and bacon back in the bin and thew the other sandwich over to the side and started to make me another one. She seemed so pissed off because I didn't want my sub toasted. WTF!! I agree they give you looks when you ask for extra, Iv'e had that happen too.

yes, especially when i get a foot-long and split it with my sister and we each want our own separate toppings on our half of the sandwich. My other sister is a pickle freak and loves their pickles and she always asks for extra and they look at her funny.

I know what you're saying .... I asked for the thinly sliced Porterhouse Steak smothered with Shiitake mushrooms and he looked at me like .....it had four heads. What he said after that....I can't post here. ....Also I am banned from every going into that store again.
