Well no you should not avoid your friends because you feel crap and useless, unless they are the ones making you feel that way, in which case they are not real friends!
You need to take a look at your life, and focus on the good things, Im sure they have outweighed the bad.... take a look at this site....
bbc.co.uk/radio1/onelife/personal/confidence/confidence_intro.shtml
Stop feeling so crappy, anything that makes you feel crappy change, or if its something you cant change, get over it by talking with friends or a professional....

I cut myself of people totally when i feel depressed, down and out. I cannot bring myself to have a conversation [ i know that sounds self-obsessed] but i am so deeply unhappy that i do not know how to communicate with anyone, so i don't use e.mail, dont phone just sit and mope. Horrible but true. Also do not want to be a wet sponge and spoil their days. BUT yesterday i phoned my sister and for the first time told her what my life was like and she was glad i told her, she was the first person i have ever spoken to about it in our family, i feel great today knowing their is someone who are willing to listen and not critisize. Yahooooooooooooooo:))))

"no longer something is extra substantial than what is going on exact now, exact right here, by utilising those lockers. severe college is the main extreme area of our lives. those issues relatively count selection." Sorry, merely kidding, i became merely attempting to lighten the temper. this is a shi#y concern. I did the comparable ingredient to my appropriate pal while i became in severe college. wager what? 8 years later, we are nonetheless appropriate acquaintances. he would be mad for awhile, and no you will blame him. you ought to sense like crap. yet do no longer beat your self up too troublesome approximately it. merely chalk it up as a existence lesson. permit him comprehend that it meant no longer something and your d!ck became questioning for you. It happens to the greater human beings. yet you ought to tell him your self, before somebody else does. severe college ladies have this ingredient approximately no longer being waiting to maintain secrets and strategies. in reality, i will assure you that she has already informed somebody. And that somebody has in all probability already informed somebody. it gets lower back to him. Your sympathy could be so lots extra elementary in case you manned as much because it. He could comprehend you so lots extra beneficial than if he has to confirm from somebody else. good success pal. and don't over think of it. you will finally end up procrastinating. merely permit it out like it became no massive deal.

No. If they are your real friends, they should already know. Your friends are you rock and support system. You should not be feeling that way about yourself anyway. Good friends know just the thing to pull you out of your funk. Great friends know how to keep you out of it.

i do yes. but i know i shouldn't, they would much rather know that i am feeling crap and useless, so that they can help and support me in some way. but i'm terrible for isolating myself, then eating too much, staring at the telly and generally making myself feel worse!!!

I like your avatar!
I avoid people when I'm feeling like crap as I find it humiliating. I don't want people to pity me, or to be repelled.
Also I need time and energy to heal myself.

I agree with bobthebrowser. Also you don't want to inflict your mood upon them. So they feel bad too.
