I couldn't find any data newer than 2004. At that point, there were 42 college grads among baseball's approximately 750 players, so the percentage was about 5.6%.

Those are pretty staggeringly low numbers, considering how many guys jump out early for a shot at the bigs only to end up out of baseball three years down the road without a degree to fall back on.

Less then half. Most get drafted out of high school and play in the minors when they otherwise would be in college.

Maybe 35-40%, because unlike football, they don't just get them from college campuses.
