TEHRAN (AFP) - Iran is to launch a new crackdown Monday on slack dressing that targets both men and women whose clothing and haircuts are deemed to be unIslamic, police said.
"The police will act against those whose trousers are too short, have skin-tight coats, shirts with Western logos and Western hairstyles," said Ahmad Reza Radan, the head of Tehran's police force..................Women in Iran are obliged to cover all bodily contours and their heads but in recent years many have pushed the boundaries by showing off bare ankles and fashionably styled hair beneath their headscarves.

No thank you. I am wearing my leather halter top today with no bra, my leopard pants, and stilettos. I have my hair teased and my nails a bright orange. Uncle Seltzer likes me this way and I WILL FIGHT FOR MY RIGHT to dress this fancy!

Since we are in a war in that region ( and probably with Iran before too long), Liberals wont say anything. If there wasn't and war in that area, Liberals would want the US and/or UN to do something about the lack of rights the Iranians have.
This type of living could happen in the US if Liberals don't realize what some of their ideas can lead to.
Hopefully, some in our country will realize how lucky we are to have what we have in the US. This will just be the beginning of another holy war from Iran. They're getting their people used to it now.

Who thinks this? Aren't you being an exaggeration of consciousness and conscience? Most people realize that here is but another example of religious nonsense to be evaluated and considered superstitious. Do you still hop around a pot on a fire at night asking a great spirit for absolution and a benediction? These people are no more than antediluvian throwbacks. Let us hope they evolve past their superstitions and fanaticism before they get a really serious bomb.

Whoever said Iran is a "Free" country? I could not care less if they were "Free" or not. The freedom of the Iranian people is not my responsibility. My only concern is any threat they may pose to the USA.
If you want to spread "freedom" join the french foreign legion.

I hope their police enforces it to the T. Then maybe it will piss off enough of the moderate Iranians to push them over the edge and rid themselves of their tyrannical government.
