I thought the Diebold voting machines were all rigged so only a Republican could win, right? So why are they even trying, when the fate of the election is already known?

Or was the whole "voter fraud" thing a big joke?

They need to build the perception that a Democratic win is inevitable, so that if there is a Republican elected, the whole voter-fraud thing will seem more plausible.

I'm a registered Indy who always votes Republican - and wants the Republicans to win in '08, but it looks like we're going to have the Clintons, again.

As for not trying to win '08, you should go ask the GOP leadership. The current crop is the sorriest pack of losers I've ever seen in my 25 years of life. *sigh*

The only Republican, running for President, that I can stand is Tancredo... and that guy has a snowball's chance in Hell of winning. :-(

As for the voting fraud bullcrap.... Eh. Conspiracy theories are cheap entertainment for the dumb. =)

Well apparently they arent rigged since they slightly won the 06 election.

If either party dont start changing their ways, the American people are going to be completely fed up. This is witnessed by the very low approval ratings of both congress and the president.

Because people are going to vote so overhwhelmingly Democrat that even your GOP tricks will not be able to win you guys the election this time......if you guys somehow win again, I'm getting out my broom and calling shenanigans.

Hopefully the voting will not be fraudulent. And if you think for a second that the Republicans have ANY chance, you're living on another planet. But it's ok to fantasize.

Obviously you're one of the same ppl that said the democrats would never become the majority in the congress, this past november. So i'm quite used to being optimistic for the democrats, everytime when a repug misanalyzes the american interest.

The whole voter fraud thing was causational to specific examples. For example, the older Jewish area in Florida whose votes were for Buchanan. I don't apply blanket generalizations to elections.

and they just happen to control plenty of Election Commissions in plenty of States..

that is a Soros thing...liberals press election fraud..because they are out to ruin faith in anyone that they don't agree with..

instead of offering expertise and solutions and trying to accomplish things via compromise

I cannot understand how the Election of 2008 has become a three year campaign for Hillary and Co.

I am praying that it is Dennis Kucinich, and he is a Dem. But, there may be a Green Party Candidate that I like even better. I just haven't heard about any! *sm*
