I would guess that voter turn out will be among the highest ever next November. Especially if Hillary is the nominee. Certainly people will be disappointed in the dems, they will also be disappointed in the GOP, it will be interesting.

the dems have done some good, increased minimum wage to 7 dollars increased funds for grants for college. They are at a political stand still with their biggest issue which is iraq. I think the "gun-ho" voting can go both ways. Some may vote for republicans in hopes of getting things done and adopting anti-war policies or they can see the republicans as the people halting progress and vote for more dems. As of July 23, 2007 I think the latter will occur.

More Democrats voted in will just mean "more of the same
that are there now". What needs to happen is that we should
vote OUT those that have already been there too long
(Kennedy, Reid) and get in some new voices. Congress
polls (14%) are lower than Bush's (30%) so something is not
workilng. I'm actually fearful of a Democrat president and
majority (as you ain't seen nothing yet).

Absolutely... Continued Bush bashing will result in a Democrat president without question. The news media will not be burned twice. Why else have the democrat candidates had such massive news coverage over the last year. Two whole years before the election, unheard of.

The American people are too easily convinced of things stated in the media and take it as solid truth.

I sure hope not but i feel the democrats have no much bad feelings against president Bush they would vote for the Devil if he said he was Democrat. Look at the last two Democrats who ran. Desperation.

Unless most people vote for Ron Paul, Dems are most likely to get in. The other guys have made such a mess of our country, someone has to fix it.

Yes. The nation is ready for a change. In terms of who will control Congress, that is a seperate issue. The Democratic majority is rather tiny and it could go either way.

Given the choices of candidates,I hope not.
Take a long hard look at them.
Do you really want any of them leading the country, controling health care, deciding how you should live?
Combine 1 of them with a lib controled congress and we are looking at disaster.
America will be taxed and regulated out of existance.

It's all apples & oranges, smoke & mirors, the politician are all from the same school, with the exact same agenda. Oh, they jump up there & shout about tis & that, but when the rubber meets the road its all about money & power. Regardless of the party that they claim to represent.
