It is a slice of cake shape. 850cm around th edge, 400 down one side and 470 down the other. It is only a rough idea not down the the exact as it is a strange shape

if it was a full circle the the area would be

area = pi * r^2

but seeing as you have a slice we then need to work out what fraction that is of the full circle

circumference of full circle = 2*pi*r

so the fraction = length of round edge / 2*pi*r

so the final area is

area = pi *r^2 * edge/2*pi*r
= r * edge/2
= 470 *850/2
= 199750 cm^2
= 19.97 m^2

However in your case you have a strange shape which is cake-slice-ish not an regular shape. So the above is just an approximate guess!!!

Whatever it works out as always order more than you need to account for any errors and so you don't need to order more if one breaks.

You could get more accurate if you marked out 1m^2 squares on the ground and added them up

If it was a regular slice of cake both sides would be the same length, but if I approximate it as a regular shape with two equal sides of 440cm, then the area turns out to be a bit less than 20sqm (19.36 to be exact).

Are your measurements correct? That's an awfully slim triangle.
