not so much anymore, and lifesaving on open water training is a prerequisite as well. If you aren't trained in open water rescue, you should not attempt to save a fighting/struggling victim without a distance floating device.

A strange question-but yes I can. Why? Are you about to go swimming in deep water , and dont know how to swim, and hope someone will come save you? Let me know when and where and I will do my best for you. =)

Yes. I have a inground pool I swim in couple times a week. I'm in great shape and I use to be a part-time lifegaurd when I was in college.

Yes. To, I am a Pisces so, yeah. My father was a lifeguard in Chicago and saved three peoples lives.

Yes and I have had to help someone in the water before, it's scary but at least I know I can do it.

i can swim very well but i will never try and save a drowning person.I might die too ;p BESIDES I DON'T KNOW HOW;D

No, I can swim, but I'm not a strong swimmer....maybe my granddaughter, I'd sure try like hell!!
