Yes and no. He found out what the prophecy meant, and realized that he had to die for them to be able to kill Voldemort, so he went to allow Voldemort to kill him. But he didn't realize that he was a horcrux himself--Voldemort had accidently put a piece of his soul in Harry when he tried to kill him as a baby, so it destroyed that much more of Voldemort. But instead of dying, Harry went into a type of limbo, where he met Dumbledore, and found out he had the choice of whether to die or go back and fight. And you know Harry.

So as you know that harry became a horucrux when voldemort did that death curse on him when harry was a baby. Snape died but while dying he gave him his memory , harry looked in it in the pensieve and got to know about him being a horucrux. he knew he had to die to save everyone. He went to voldemort and voldemort killed him on the spot . No... don't stop. He found himself then on kings cross and then talked to dumbeldore and most of harrys questions were answered. Dumbeldore then said he could either cchose to die or go back.. harry decided to go back and defeated voldemort.. thus ending the battle. HE got married with ginny has 3 children... Ron married hermoine, I hope im clear

Yes he died.
But he came back.
Voldemort sort of intentionally made him himself a kind of "Horcrux" for Harry in the graveyard scene from the fourth book, thus Harry could return.
