There really isn't one. It all depends on your frame (bone) size. If you're 5'7" and have very small bones, then your average weight would be considerably less than if you were 5'7" and have a large frame. That's why the weight charts have such a wide range.
I found this on a health website:
Height: 5'7"
Small Frame: 123-136
Medium Frame: 133-147
Large Frame: 143-163
So if you're 5'7", have a small frame, and you weight 160, you're probably overweight. On the other hand, you're 5'7", have a large frame and weigh 120, you're probably underweight.
The only way to tell what size frame you have is to have your doctor measure you (it's painless--they use something that looks very similar to a protractor, and measure your elbow.

honestly there's no proper weight for any height. for women, a GENERAL way to measure proper weight is that someone who is 5'0" should be 100 lbs. for every inch, add 5 lbs. so at 5'7" your "proper" weight is 135. however, they are not taking into account muscle mass, or bone structure, which play very important parts in determining whether you are at a healthy weight.
as long as you're getting enough exercise and eating right, you shouldn't be worrying about an average weight.
