Don't know but right after Dan Quail attacked Murphy Brown and lost.
Bush Sr. said, "American families need to be more like the Walton's and less like the Simpson's"
Few weeks later Bart sees that on TV and responds, "We are exactly like the Walton's, we are both just waiting for the depression to end." At the time Bush was denying there was a recession.

It's very LIBERAL. Have you not seen all the political references lately??? All the anti-war messages? With Lisa calling al-Qaida in Iraq and other foreign insurgents "a determined local population" while slamming our military??? They're constantly making fun of the military, and even said in one episode "America is due to win a war sometime." Come on, all that anti-Americanism, there has to be liberals behind it.

I'm pretty sure the "Simpsons" is a fictional cartoon. As far as I know, most fictional cartoons can't align with any political party. Thanks for asking.
