Do I have to wash all the walls first, is it really necessary? If so, any voluteers out there to help? LOL!!

Use a sponge mop to do it quickly. Yes, you have to dust down the walls in order for the paint to adhere properly, otherwise, you will have flakes of dry paint coming off wall.

Any family members -- give a friends beer party. Get them to help for beer and snacks.

It is a good idea to at least sweep down your walls: You don't want dust and cobwebs in your new paint, after all.

All you got to do it tape up stuff you don't want to get paint on it, and then paint!

You don't have to wash all the walls unless they are noticeablly dirty. you should be fine.
