Branson is expecting to launch a space program that take people into outer space and the year of production could be as soon as 2010...tests of the vehicles have been carried out and were successful. Other countries such as China, Japan, India, Russia are also keeping an open port for commercial flights. ESA is also talking to bodies for space journeys...to ISS and other destinations. The moon station is yet to be made, carried and installed - this is expected to take around 10 years to achieve then commercial flights might be possible to the moon. Our childrens children might be able to benefit from this - we may only dream and pay for it.

Space Adventures, the same company that has sent several tourists to the space station, is planning a lunar flight. But it will not land, only loop by the Moon like Apollo 13 did after they aborted the landing. The cost will be $100 Million.

Regular commercial spaceflight to the moon (like buying a ticket on Expedia to El Paso) is centuries away.

Whenever NASA gets everything together...I think they said about 4/5 years from now and the cost is estimated at like $65,000 per person.
