If you put up with it you are telling him that it is ok to do. If he has only done it once you may want to give him a second chance however you must make it clear that you are a valuable person and will not put up with such behavior.

It takes lots of time to get over the hurt and to learn to trust again...
Three weeks would allow you some time to gain perspective on your life, your past and your future. It might open new doors, as well as help you to cope with a lot of understandable anger and pain.

When the other person in a case of infidelity is a best friend, the sense of loss and disloyalty is doubled. For you, doing something both fun and productive -- getting on with your life and having a good time -- is the best revenge.

Try talking with him and get him to go to a marriage counselor with you. He needs to understand how this is hurting both you and your marriage. He needs to be made to understand that std's are out there and some of them can take lives away.

If he refuses the only other options you have are the two below.

If he won't be faithful, then about the only options you have are either stop having s*x with him or divorce him.

I hope he chooses to go to counseling with you, so that you don't have to deal with his infidelity any more. God bless you I hope you can get him into counseling and it helps you and your marriage.
