Good Morning, Jay! Yes, I used to do that until I got to thinking that maybe the shower was meant to relax me instead of wake me up. In order to solve that problem for myself, I began showering at night just before bedtime and found that it not only helped me sleep better but also saved me some time in the mornings not having to run around in the shower with everything else I had to do. I feel more refreshed in the mornings and don't have to "hurry" as much...give it a try and see how it works for you!

I do think it's worth a try if you want to.

I was doing this with a night light on in the next room for a few months. I had a job where I was rotating shift and had to get up real early in the mornings. I really liked doing this. And keeping all music and noise to a minimum too.

Now my job requires me to be more alert and actually use my mind so I make it a priority to get more sleep now.

I've never showered with the lights off.. I have closed my eyes while in the shower for a minute. Shh!

Actually yes, it's very soothing and relaxing. The down side of it is that I've actually fallen asleep like that, leaning against the shower wall, so it's not exactly conducive to rushing in the morning.

Yeah, once or twice more likely if I need the bathroom in the middle of the night I won't turn the light on, hurts my eyes and I know my house well enough to know I'm not going to bump into anything and my eyes get accustomed to the dark anyway.

No but interesting idea. I try to make sure I get eough sleep the night before. Perhaps go to bed 30mins early or having a shower the night before so you can sleep. zzzzzzzzzz

Nope. I'm in the bath tub with my coffee and either a book or the newspaper.

I get up early just so I can have bath time...
