I will NOT give anything away in this answer for those who have not read it yet.

I liked it, yes, but the book was a tense read at best. At every battle you wondered who was going to die. Every little mistake the charecters made had you in knots.

Some of the "middle" parts were a bit of a reprive from this "tenseness", but you were still on the edge of your seat waiting for "something" to happen. Something BAD. The entire book just about had a "dark" feel to it... JK said the world was at war in book 6 ...she was NOT lying. Book 7 shows this without a doubt.

I did find several answers to previous questions. Sadly not all were given enough attention. As much as I would have liked anyway, but in the end those that wernt touched heavily upon were not integral to the plot nor the ending which was fabulous actually. I really wouldve liked to here more on Dudley...just because the nature of it.

I loved it! It tied everything together. It explained why Snape hated Harry, but still protected him--he hated James but loved his mother. In a way, Neville did fulfill the prophecy, not Harry, since he killed the snake, the last Horcrux. And since he was born on July 31, also, the prophecy was completely right.

I also like how Harry didn't destroy all the horcri himself--he let his friends share in the glory. And finally, I like that he had a choice in the end as to whether he died or went back to do the responsible thing, even though he knew it would be painful.

Those people that like to turn up to the last chapter had too much information given to them there.
- At least 8 characters were named that could have died at any time in the book
- the question of whether Snape was good or evil was answered

But it is a good read

Same outstanding writing as the rest of Rowlings work. It wrapped up the whole saga rather nicely...including the epilogue.
BTW, those who tend to turn to the last chapter deserve what they get. That constitutes some sort of character flaw as far as I'm concerned.

YES!

The action was amazing. The last five or so chapters were so intense! The plot perfectly wrapped up the ongoing story line. I was moved to tears many times!

Yes!! although I feel a little empty now that it's all over, plus there are still a lot of questions unanswered, what about the veil at the Ministry, for instance. It was great though.

I liked it.. but it was so tempting to just go to the end and find out what happened... i ended up just scanning for some of it because i was so nervous. but yeah, i liked it. i probably need to read it again since i didn't read it thoroughly, and grasp in each meaning.

i would've liked to have heard what harry ended up doing as a job..... and hermione and ron. what happened to ron's parents? what happened to dudley and his parents?

but jk rowling said she may right more about other characters didn't she? we'll just wait and see i guess

Yes it was really good! I laughed and cried through the whole book! I thought she killed off a lot of characters though.

I loved the book and I think that it was the best out of all 7.
Except the ending/epilogue seemed kindof odd and out of place.
