No offence but this is not the 1st child to go missing abroad or in the UK and though I do feel for her parents and family everyone seems to have blocked it out that they left her alone, they are both in a very respected proffession who probably deal with children so they should be equally aware if not more on the dangers of leaving a child alone, not just from the threat of another human but what if she had injured herself in the room, it does not matter how far they went, I recently had a chat with a padre at another camp(I'm military) and even he said that he would never leave his children at night even if he is visiting his neighbour, I use this as an example as I myself have no children but when I do in the future I will have the common sense not to leave them on their own at night and abroad, but again I do feel for them but sometimes god teaches us hard lessons, also I am not very religious so please say a prayer for her from me.

The only things to do is to continue to pray and also to try and bring attention to this nasty problem of missing children throughout the world. Oh, and also, to keep really good track of our own kids too...I can not believe the number of people in this world that have no clue where their kids are, what they are doing, or who they are doing it with. I went to the store the other day, and I must have seen about five children (all about 6-14 years old) walking around with no parents in sight! Wake up parents! This poor tragic situation can happen to ANY child! Keep track of your children and keep them safe from predators...

Years ago when my family needed help, (my dad was and still is paralyzed from the neck down), our church got together and provided meals for us. Each evening a family would bring by dinner for all of us. It frees up time for the family. I hope this is what you are looking for.....by the way, I will say a prayer for them also.

You could start by spelling their name right, its McCann not Mcgann and all people can do is be vigilant and look out for Maddy when they are on their holidays
No one is asking you to be an expert typist but surely with all the publicity they are getting, people should know how to spell their name correctly and I really dont see how you not being well has anything to do with the question you have asked
