Dear, that is a tough one, as people we can try, and might even succeed, but if you look at the larger scale, how could governments control its borders, keep tax records and provide for its people in the pace we have in this day and age without computers?

How could electricity be made from nuclear reactors without computers controlling all operations? How can we travel and cover distances by air without global positioning systems and flight navigation systems? They all relay on computers.

I hope I shed a light on the situation.. Good Luck

Human history is proof that we can live without computers all we have to do is back track to the the days before computers were invented.
But of course computers have become an essential part of human development and without them we would not be were we are today.

I grew up in a world without computers. My first computer was a Timex Sinclair T-1000. The 1000 stood for 1 Kilobyte of memory. Of course we could live in a world without computers. I have to admit though, the advent of the internet has made it a much more interesting place.

No.

At the moment all life depends on it. Not also Personal computers but even calculators, microwaves, cars they all run on computers.

Computers control our money in the bank and ATM'S give us our money.

A terorrist attack using EMR can destroy the US in 8 minutes. I saw it on National Geographic.

EMR Is a small nuclear explosion that must be dropped from 30000 ft and its only the size of a can of coke.

If this was to be dropped all computers in northen united states will fry instanly.

Yes, we can definitely live without computers. Computers aren't capable o fdoing anything that a human can't do ((though computers may be able to do it faster). So, yes we can live without computers.

You're using a computer to ask a question about the usefulness of computers in today's modern world.... Doesn't that paint a clear picture?

Are you kidding ? Of course we can.

We will go back to the old slow way of doing things, a job done on the computer in minutes will take us hours if not days to do, Emails will go back to letters and days to arrive, etc....

Can we, yes we can, should we ? I doubt it.
