Yes, they don't have eyelids so you can't tell but they do sleep.

some fish do and some just slow down, just enough to let water flow through their gills so they do not drown, like
a human that will sufforcate, because of lack of oxygen. oceanographers were suprised when they saw a group of sharks sleeping in a underwater cave some years back. here is a real shocker in the northern tundra fish who was caught in the frozen ice seem to be dead but when thawed, some fish woke up and started swimming???

Yes, and you can't tell since fish have no eyelids. You can tell they are sleeping when they are suspended in water without moving.

Yes they sleep by not moving much,but they still breathe.

And as with many other animals, some sleep at night and some sleep more during the day.
Some are daytime feeders and others nightime hunters.

They don't sleep, they just take periodic rests where they stay in one spot. To maintain their position, they often flick their fins. Their colors may change during this rest, but they are always looking for any threats.

Yes. They kinda just float there or sit on the bottom and don't do anything when they sleep.

i think they can rest, but i was always told they cant actually sleep
