from a long term partner because you met and chatted and flirted with someone NEW in a smoking shelter?

I just wondered how many people the new law was going to break up!

There is a name for this. It is smurting.

It is true that many people have met this way and I have recently heard a story of a couple becoming engaged by meeting outside having a cigarette. He then asked her if she wanted a drink and the rest is history.

If there is someone in a bar sitting at another table then it feels weird going up and talking to them but if you are both outside having a cigarette it suddenly feels very natural and normal which is strange and doesn't feel weird atall.

I have met and chatted to more random strangers since the introduction of the smoking ban (on 1 January where I am) then in the past two or three years so I quite like it.

I dunno, but what do you talk about when 7 minutes are up? That is, the length of time it takes to smoke a ciggy?
It doesn't base a good foundation for a long term relationship. You might get the butt end! Everything will go up in a puff of smoke

the familiar public has a short reminiscence - they're going to hear the words "faith" and "abortion" and ignore all with regard to the bailout, or purchase some malarky that it became Democrats fault. Then McCain gets elected - and any further issues will nonetheless be blamed on the Democrats by utilising the Republicans.

It's not the law thats breaking people up. It's the people that are cheating. They would cheat sooner or later.
