What really killed Fred Weasley. They were grouped together after leaving the Room of Requirement which was under Fiendfyre. They were able to stun and transfigure the 2 Death Eaters. Then there was an explosion. But why is it that Fred still had that laughing expression on his face? I though that if there was an explosion, he should at least be shocked and his laughing expression not frozen as if he was killed by the killing curse like Sirius and Bellatrix were.

And why kill Fred in the first place? If it was imperative that a Weasley family member should die, why not kill Percy or Charlie instead? It was utterly useless and pointless!!!!

I would love to read something of an epilogue on what happened to the other characters though. Especially George Weasley now that Fred's gone. Would George continue with their joke shop?

What happened to their Hogwarts education since they didn't come back for their 7th year, that includes Dean and the other Muggle-borns.

I would have loved a scene where Harry makes a last visit to the Headmaster's office and have a dialogue with Snape's portrait! Nothing as melodramatic as that scene with Dumbledore. But would it have been joyous to see Snape FINALLY giving Harry a smile and a good word or two?

Would Harry kept Kreacher or freed him?

Would he have lived in Grimmauld Place before and after marrying Ginny?

What happened to Rita Skeeter (ooh, it would be lovely if she got reported as an illegal Animagus! and all her Dumbledore biographies taken from the bookshelves!!!)

And Dolores Umbridge? She should be tried and taken to Azkhaban prison for crimes against humanity and just for looking like a toad!

But, as JKR wrote in the final line "ALL IS WELL."

1. Of course I would have been ecstatic if none of the good guys had died, but if I had to pick 2 that should have lived, it would be Lupin & Tonks because they just had a baby. 2. I used to hate Snape, but now I feel sympathetic toward him. It was kind of pitiful, actually, that he only loved Lily his whole life, and that nobody ever really knew all of the good things he had done. He died with everyone hating him. 3. Of course I want more! Any real Potter fan wants more! 4. I thought the epilogue was definitely lacking. JK says she is going to make an encyclopedia though, so we should be able to find out more about the characters in that. I can't wait! 5. If she made a series with Harry's and Ron's kids, I would definitely read them!

I think that Tonks' mother probably raised Teddy, the epilogue did say that he came to dinner at Harry's a few times a week--but why did all of Tonks' family except her mother die--why did Tonks and Lupin have to die and leave their baby. I do get that it kinda made things full circle, but that made me really sad.

Creevy may have come in with other members of the DA through the tunnell.

I also wondered what happened to the Dursleys

edit: Gryffindor's sword came out of the Hat b/c they are both enchanted. Dumbledore always said that the sword would come to any Gryffindor who truly needed it.

I wonder what happen to Fawkes? I was hoping Dumbledore would have left him to Harry.

Who brought up Lupin and Tonk's child? How did George do after Fred was killed? Did Harry end up moving into Sirius' old place? When did everyone get married? And, of course, your two questions :)

Why was Colin Creevy at Hogwarts? Weren't both of his parents muggles, making him a mudblood and not up to the "Ministry's standard" of Hogwarts acceptable students?

I'm disgruntled by the lack of explanation of who raised Teddy Tonks. I was sure that, as young as he might have been, Harry would have taken Teddy as Sirius wanted to do with Harry after his own parents death--yet no one knows who raised him? Tonks mother???
