I just recently became a top contributor and I have no idea how....anybody know?

but all the above can't be right because i've been around 17% best answer since genesis & i even have around the same amount of points as the asker... i don't have a top contributor badge. you must've done something else?
edit: if you hover over your avatar you'll see which section you hold your 'top contributor' badge in (in your case maintenance & repairs). so i'm guessing you have to get 10% in any one section.

yep it takes 10% or more to get Top Contributors Badge.

I heard 10 % best answers in a certain category, which your is Maint. & Repairs.

i had it once and i also didn't know why did they choose me , and then i lost it and i also don't know why they have taken it from me ?!!
although iam still the same and even the % of my best answers is rising.......... weird to me too.
but congradulations anyway...... :D
