Here be spoilers....do not read if you don't want to know...
I don't read them either but I asked someone who does and she said there were a bunch killed but the main characters ie Harry, Hermione, and Ron were alive...the end of the book takes place 19 years in the future and Ron and Hermione are married and Harry is married to Ginny and they meet at Hogwart's taking their children to attend school there...

You're obviously intelligent enough to use a computer, so has it ever occurred to you, even if you dont want actually shell out for the book yourself, to simply go into a bookshop, take a copy off the shelf and look at the last page....?

for one thing, we're talking about a book not a movie. and i didn't read 700 and some pages so i could tell everybody else what happened! it's my favorite book, and if you don't want to read maybe you don't deserve to know.
