According to forbes.com she is far and away the highest paid and richest celebrity in America, meaning that you can't actually think of anybody who is paid more, and she can't have given proportionally THAT much to charity.
So the rich continue to get richer and therefore all the little people like you and me that Oprah appears to care about so very much are getting poorer.
What on Earth can any one person need more than a billion dollars for??

She is a highly successful businesswoman who went from rags to riches to become one of the richest women in history. I mean the fact that she grew up poor, raped as a child, put herself through college, worked as an anchorwoman, Oscar nominated actress, is an entrepreneur of one of the most successful talk shows in history and just opened up a school for underprivileged girls in Africa. Not to mention, her talk show is very classy and tasteful. Her unselfish acts of charity and giving to schools and colleges because she believes in a good education just puts the icing on the cake. She owns her own company and her company funds movie and television projects. The woman has worked hard to get where she is and deserves every good thing that has come to her.

Oprah is good at her job,she also gives a lot of money to worthy causes.A bit overpaid yes but i can think of a lot more less worthy celebs,that get far more than her.

gain pounds, lose them again, then become pretty, talkative and sensitive..talk about the horrible fates of the american society (like having an ugly face, no husband or not enough money to buy your own swimming pool) and broadcast it - they will love you!!
