Wife & I have been married for 22 years. We were childhood sweethearts, neither of us have been with another person.
My wife never performs oral sex on me, even though she enjoys it when I do it to her. I'm not mad at her. She did try, but gagged as soon as she licked it once (I cleaned myself, she even helped me get clean). She just can't bring herself to do it. I really would like to know how it feels.
We are going to Vegas next month for a vacation. I would like to hire a hooker to perform oral on me. I won't touch her, she doesn't even have to get undressed, and I wouldn't mind if my wife was present to witness it.
How would she react if I brought the subject up, or should I just leave it alone?

I don't think that's a good idea, she will most likely get very offended, I know I would! I am sure she would rather do it for you herself than see you getting it from a dirty hooker! Can't you just hint to her, make her feel in the mood for it or something. You need to tell her how badly you want it and how important it is. I know that some spouses are ok with open relationship type stuff but I'd say that 80% of women would be against it, especially as you are childhood sweethearts. And don't forget that she could agree to it and once it happens she may realise it was the wrong thing to do and maybe not be able to get over it.

Most women would not approve. Unless you think she might be ok with with it, don't even bring it up.
There are sex therapists out there that may be able to help your wife with this. There is no physical reason she should gag if she is just licking it. Ask your wife is she would be willing to talk to a professional. Why doesn't she want to? Is it that she feels like she is in a submissive role? Does she not like the sight of male genitalia? You nee to find out what's behind her rationale for not even trying.
I'm afraid if you hire a hooker once (with or without your wife's knowledge) that you would like it so much, that you would probably continue paying someone for the service. That could be extremely detrimental to your marriage.

I think you should run the idea past her. There is a small chance she would agree to it, and if that happens, then lucky you!

I believe there is a much greater chance that she would not only reject the idea, but get angry at you for bringing it up. In this case, it's still a winner for you to have brought it up because it opens a dialogue about oral sex in a very powerful way. You can tell her that if she won't do it, she should be OK with someone else doing it for you; that she is a hypocrite for receiving but not giving; and that it would be an opportunity to see that it can be perfectly fine for a woman to do.

I think you should try something else first, though. Buy some porn DVDs that feature fellatio and watch them a few nights/week when you're having sex. This will desensitize her to the act and may make her able to perform it on you. Because, it sounds like she has a mental block.

From a daughters point of view I think what you did was nice, generally. Its embarrassing enough that your dad or sometimes parents can act as if you wouldn't want to look sexy, or you wouldn't be wearing underwear because you are still their little girl. For you to ignore this, give her money and allow her to feel confident enough to go into an underwear shop with you knowing is something not alot of daughters get to experience. I think your wife maybe thought that underwear shopping should be traditionally done by the mother, but what you did allowed your daughter independant choice into the underwear in which she would be wearing. Your wife is probably more angry at the fact she didn't get to monitor the underwear your daughter is buying: if she had done, she would have probably pressured her into buying some underwear that no one but a nun or a little child would want to wear. So ignore her, you did the right thing.

I would leave it alone. If it bugs you that much that your wife won't give you oral then stop giving her oral. Perhaps she'll try harder if she wants you to keep doing it to her.

I think if she tried she could do it. She just doesn't want to.

Go to the sex shop of maybe find some stuff online so she can learn to be a better lover in this department.

Yeah! Hookers and pornography that's a real good way to learn! Maybe your wife will never get over it and be able to do that for you, or maybe she will. It doesn't sound like you will love her any less because of it. I would forget about it or the resentment towards her will start to grow and then you will have a real problem.

Why does oral sex seem so important to men? I don't understand why you would want to go to that extent just to act out your fantasy. After 22yrs of marriage, the last thing you would want to do is hurt your wife ever so badly with this idea. Forget it.
