It is possible that there are blackholes wandering around among the stars of the Milky Way, and that one of them might collide with the Earth or Sun and destroy it. Such events must be extremely rare, however, because they are highly energetic and if such a thing had happened to any of the trillion other stars in the Milky Way in the past few decades, we probably would have seen it.
All the black holes that we actually know about (in the galactic center, Cygnus X-1) are so far away that any interaction between us and them is hundreds of millions of years in the future, and unlikely even then.

Not in the immediate future but billions of years from now the blackhole at the centre of our galaxy will have consumed the milky way and earth. Humans will have died out long before this happens.

If the conditions for the existence of a black hole are known without a shred of doubt, then it would be possible to hypothesise fate of the milky way and the solar system.
Can the earth itself become a black hole? Apparently, if a drop of anti-matter were manufactured in a lab it would sink to the centre of the earth and initiate the process of forming a black hole. That is not an original hypothesis mind.

If a black hole could exist one would never threaten the earth.
A black hole would act like any other celestial body so it would be no more dangerous to us than another star.

i do no longer understand the percentages or how those must be calculated. yet there is probable no black hollow close to our photograph voltaic gadget. the probabilities that our planet would be swallowed by one must be subsequently next to 0. whether the earth would be sallowed by our solar in direction of the top of it incredibly is existence. And our solar or better it incredibly is be counted (and this sort additionally us) will maximum probable be fed on by a black hollow in some billions of years contained sooner or later. yet we don't ought to rigidity approximately that. playstation : The mastermind who in simple terms gave me a damaging score ought to larger step up and say something smarter.

Yes, but going into a black whole doesn't necessarily mean total anhialation as many people seem to think. Just because you don't know whats ahead of you out there in the dark, it don't mean that its bad.
