I'm pretty sure Shelley would have a chance of being an all-star player, if he has enough playing time next year. Robinson Cano accompolished that goal in his second major league year in 2006 (but he didn't play, because of an injury). If Shelley has a great year next year, I'm pretty sure he's gonna be an all star.

I think he has the potential to be a future all-star. He's obviously off to a great start, but his power is similar to his brother Chris on the Cardinals. He has 19 homeruns in about 240 at-bats this year.

I wouldn't expect much out of Duncan, he is a 28 year old career minor league player that came up to fill a roster spot and had one good day at the plate. I would say it is no better than a 50% chance that you will see him on the Yankee roster next year.

Time will tell. I remember Shane Spencer when he came up. He hit like 13 homers in 15 games and was the next coming of "Babe Ruth". Until he arrived at training camp the next year and came down to earth rather quickly.

That impossible to say.

Remember Kevin Maas? He started off hotter then any player in history but lost it fast. A few years later he was washing windows.

My point is that we have to give a while to know for sure.

yeah probably- the only thing is is that he's a DH so when he does play on the field he's more of a utility player. hes a great batter but we havent seen much of him on the field. he's a great batter and sooo much fun to watch in the dugout. he really brings alot to the team! go yanks!!!

I'm pulling for him. I'm sure, as pitchers figure him out, it won't be as easy for him, but he could still have a great career. He just has to survive the hit drought that follows.
