If a non smoker came over to chat would you tell them to sod off back into the pub with the other non smokers.

Well done Groid thats my point, if all the smokers are outside in a fantastic beer garden, why should the non smokers follow them...they can't have it each way...either they don't want second hand smoke or they do....

I'm tempted to. My local has made a beer garden area for the smokers with a big TV and patio heaters. It's nearly impossible to get a seat in that area as all the non smokers are sitting out there now !!!! There may be a group of 5 friends, one of them a smoker, so they all sit out there. Very annoying !!!!!

I don't smoke, so I'll be in the pub anyway!
I wouldn't go outside just to chat with a smoker! Lots of my friends don't smoke either!

Probably not, where I work they obviously got rid of the smoking room as it was illegal and now some of our non-smoking friends still come out to where we stand and have a chat with us. It does seem a little sad that the camradery between smokers and our non-smoking friends has now migrated to the street.

Very good... only thing is non smokers will have the last laugh, in my area they are now trying to bring in no drinking at all outside... so you can smoke outside but cant drink, and drink inside but not smoke.... hmmm.... free will? Human rights?

the government make the rules x im a non smoker and i think the sheds are a daft idea x would rather be with my friends in the shed than sat on my own waiting for them to come back in x lol

Why would you want to send them back inside, they aren't harming your health.
Just their own health for standing outside with the smokers.

No. If they don't want to be around us smokers, they should have stayed inside. They also should have known we were outside smoking.
