Good for you. Looks like you need to crack down in your English classes. If you don't have the dedication and commitment to do both football and homework then you should do the homework.

If you're looking into the music industry for a future and a living then you should really look into it. Music labels treat their artists like slaves...just ask Prince. They make you pay for the production of your own CD's, art work, and promotion. You go on tour to pay off what you owe the label. When you're done you'll be lucky not to owe them. This is why more and more artists are going independant! Look into it!

I understand quitting football...it's not for everyone. Just don't let it make you a quitter! Quitting is easy and it makes you a quitter. Commitment is hard but it makes you committed. It's that easy!

I think you were right to do so. I am not being funny when I say your post shows you need to work on grammar, spelling and punctuation. Also Answers has a spell check. I would use that because editing what you write will really help you in this area. I know it helped me to double check everything I write. Sometimes things are more important than sports. I think you are one the right path. Even if you we the best player they had ever you still can't go wrong with trying to improve yourself with focusing more on your education. You should take a bow and work really hard. Good luck! Evita

PS I just used my spell check and found two type-o's. I think people take you more seriously when you present yourself the best you can in print.

As long as you still have a full schedule. My experience has been that if your schedule is full your grades will actually be better than if you had a lot of spare time. Being a football player myself I think that playing football helps you learn a lot about life, but if it isn't for you, it isn't for you. Don't waste your time or the time of others out there. Just as long as you don't see yourself regretting it later in life.

Take up boxing. Football is a great game but in boxing the glory is all yours.

Seriously though if your heart wasn't in then by all means quit and be happy. But, you know that there are certain perks that go away when you hang up those cleats. I'm sure you weighed the pros and cons didn't you?

Tell the coach you don't love the game enough to put in the time and effort it takes to be a football player. The coach will understand and he won't keep you on the team because it's hat competetive.

go to basketball. Its important to stay healthy and basketball requires the most running of major sports, in 10 years it wont matter if you got a B instead of an A, it will matter if you weren't sitting on the couch eating chips. think about it, would you rather be the best basketball player (lebron James) or would you rather be the smartest person (me) jk. i dont know who the smartest person is, and there is a reason its because they dont do well in life and nobody knows them. besides you can set goals for yourself for example say if you dont get a 2.8 GPA you quit. if basketball is too demanding think about track. being a starter shouldnt be a concern you should have fun and if you dont start who cares, in basketball just about everyone on the team gets playing time usually, just give it your best on the court.

never regret your decision.
I broke 5 bones in one leg during a game that was it for me and I moved on to other things. You will be happy in your decision.
