I just finished it. I probally would have finished it early saturday morning, if I didn't have to work doubles Sat and Sun.
Anyhow, I liked the book. It must have taken her quite a few re-writes though to make sure that she did tie everything up. I am impressed that she not only made Dumbeldore more "human", she also didn't give that much glory to Harry's acheivements. ( that he was an ordinadary wizard student, who was put in extrodinary cercumstances). The fact that she killed off both Tonks and Lupin infuriated me though, why did she really need to orphange another child? And George, why George and not Percy? ( though bringing Percy around was another neat little tie up) There wasn't a reason for that, Fred having one ear was enough for the Weasly family, I belive that was over kill, no pun intended.
I would have liked to have known more about what Ron, Herimone and Harry were doing with themselves, besides being married with kids. And if Mcgonall became head mistress after the end of Volemort.

i read it very quickly because i wanted to see who died without cheating. I was kind of amazed though not actually surprised that she went on a bit of a murderous rampage at the end of the series because up until the last book she had only actively killed of 2 major characters and 1 surrounding character
I'm not including Harry's parents because we don't find out how they died until almost the middle of the first book
no the Epilogue is the bit at the end where she ties up all the loose ends

The epilogue was the nineteen years later bit. And yeah, the book was good, but I agree with the other person here. What was Harry's job? What did Ron and Hermione do? What did happen to Luna? And who became headmaster/mistress of Hogwarts? And what happened to Hagrid?

read the whole thing in less then 24 hours, even with work and sleep in there. I loved it! Perfect mix of angst and action. My only complaint was that she didn't tell a little more about what happened to people in the epiologue. What happened to Luna? I think she and Neville would have made the perfect pair. And what about McGonagal? Did she get to be headmistress? What was Harry doing other then marrying Ginny and having Kids, was he working for the ministry? I wish we'd heard more.

It took 12 hours, what a wonderful Saturday. I'm re-reading just in case I missed anything. The best book of the series.

I read it within 15 hours, from the moment the book shop opened. I didn't even stop for lunch. I think this shows how exciting it was!
