We have a 2004 Honda Accord LX. The battery has died a couple of times, and i need to know how to move it without having to start it.

Hi........i dont know about your particular car, but here's a few tips that should help. First, try to turn the key and you may need to step on the brake too. Lots of cars nowadays have a "shift interlock", that gets disconnected when the brake pedal is applied. And, most all cars built since the 70's have what is called a "neutral safety switch". This is generally located on the driver floorboard, or in that area. It can be manually operated, or the car can be disconnected this way, like for towing purposes, or if you needed to start the car in neutral for some reason. I hope this helps!! Good Luck!!

there is no longer something incorrect with roling down the driveway the brakes and guidance etc would be wonderful for that length offering your force isnt extensive haha. they could final your driveway yet whilst they end working turn the engine on im hoping there isnt a important highway on the tip of the driveway or on the time you do it optimistically there are no longer any autos there yet its wonderful rolling down the driveway i do it each and all the time in straightforward terms approximately 10meters and park up on the backside yet yeah in case you havnt have been given a a thank you to return and forth wonderful do it it wont harm something make certain u make certain to coach the engine on and make certain your brakes etc artwork previously driving off tho.

Turn the key to the ON position. Press the brake pedal, and put it in Neutral. Unless your car has some extra safety device that I don't know about, that is all you should have to do.

I thought all honda's worked by just turning the key to the on position. Nissan's have a tiny release switch on the shifter. I guess that doesn't help much at all. Jump it! Sorry. no help here.

Step on the brake then shift.
