I was and stil am somewhat the basket case. I really was like her in lots of way in highschool, but dressed a lot more funky. Dressed not like a beatnik but more hippie clothes, but people didn't think I was a basket case, but I did strange things like she did. Loved her artistic talent with the snow picture she made with her dandruff. I actually remember doing something similiar , shaking my hair so much till any loose flakes would come off on a black piece of construction paper, because I was bored or mayby a bit Wired and needed something to do, the type of thing I might do, but others would think I had a screw loose somewhere If they saw me do A Breakfast Club type move like that.I love that movie and even though I am not longer a teenager, I still identify with the characters in that movie, everyone except perhaps the jock. Being female, it is the one role, I can't
really identify with as strongly, but I do understand why he did the things he did, that I can understand. I knew Jocks, I knew Criminals and of course there were allways some Princesses,but the nerds were the ones no-one really wanted
to get to know, we stayed away from them, unless we were one of them.There are a lot more basket cases out there then you would think, we all have a litle basket case in us, particulary when growing up.

I'm just a nerdy jock all together. It's true. I was the smartest kid on my soccer team. My team would pay me to do their homework and beat me up when I they got caught because their educaters knew they couldn't come up with the answers I provided. They also beat me up when they found out I got a free ride to college to play.
